General Accountant page is loaded## General Accountantlocations: Vancouvertime type: Full timeposted on: Posted 3 Days Agojob requisition id: R-101551**Job Description:**As a General Accountant, you’ll play a key role in the full accounting cycle—from revenue billing and vendor management to month-end close and financial reporting—supporting a fast-paced, growth-oriented organization where your attention to detail truly matters.**Perks & Benefits:*** Comprehensive Benefits Package that provides extended health care, dental care, vision care, life insurance and critical illness.* Continuous learning opportunities with an annual educational allowance.* Generous referral program ranging from $500-$2,500 depending on business need.* Regular consistent team building activities and events.* Discounts to local amenities and vendors.* Discounted hotel stays in multiple locations through our Hospitality offers.**What You Will Do:*** Process and maintain accounts receivable and aging report* Full revenue billing cycle to customers* Maintain paperwork for purchase activity with vendors including extending & inputting invoices, matching invoices to POs, and posting items into the accounting systems* Prepare vendor contract report each period to ensure compliance with contract terms* Managing preliminary cheques register deadlines and approvals* Support month end closing procedures, prepare journal entries, and maintain reconciliations for all balance sheet accounts in established corporate formats and in accordance with accepted accounting principles.* Prepare year end adjusting entries and accruals* Perform bank reconciliations* Assist in maintaining accounts on the balance sheet* Assist in preparing financial reports and various other reports for end users* Complete other special projects as assigned.**What You Will Bring:*** Minimum of 2 years of accounting experience* Working towards their CPA Designation is an asset* Excellent communication skills* Strong problem solving skills* Advanced Excel skills is an asset (ex.
