Licensed Plumber Job Description We are seeking experienced licensed plumbers to work on industrial and new construction sites across Southwestern Ontario. You will collaborate with other tradespeople, including plumbers, welders, and millwrights, on rebuilds, new builds, and installations. Responsibilities Determine piping system requirements and pipe sizing.Measure, cut, thread, and bend pipes to the required shape and size.Read blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine the layout of plumbing systems, water supply networks, and waste and drainage systems.Install, repair, and maintain domestic, commercial, or industrial plumbing fixtures and systems.Locate and mark positions for pipe connections, passage holes, and fixtures in walls and floors.Cut openings in walls and floors to accommodate pipes and pipe fittings.Join pipes using couplings, clamps, screws, bolts, cement, or soldering, brazing, and welding equipment.Test pipes for leaks using air and water pressure gauges. Essential Skills Experience in an industrial environment, including threaded piping, soldered, victaulic coupling, and steam piping.Commercial plumbing experience.Construction site experience. Additional Skills & Qualifications 306A ticket.Journeyman certification.Working at heights certification.WHMIS certification.Worker awareness training. Why Work Here?
