Position Title: Psychologist Location: Lifemark Physiotherapy Grande Prairie located at Suite 201, 11601 - 101 Avenue, Grande Prairie, AB T8V 3X9 Status: Full Time and Part Time Hours available Schedule: Monday-Friday Compensation: TBD + $5,000 Sign-On Bonus for Full Time Permanent status Location type: Hybrid Category: Clinic Operations Lifemark Physiotherapy Grande Prairie is looking for a passionate Psychologist to deliver high-quality individual psychotherapy for the treatment of work injuries. The psychologist position requires you to be working closely within a multidisciplinary team including occupational therapists, physiotherapists and kinesiologists. This team environment also includes plenty of opportunities to collaborate with other psychologists as well as other mental health clinicians such as Social Workers. In-person care is required; however, there are opportunities for creating a hybrid schedule with virtual care services.

Professional staff includes: physiotherapists, physicians, psychologists, kinesiologists, occupational therapists, massage therapists, nurses and vocational rehabilitation specialists. More About Our Services Lifemark Physiotherapy Grande Prairie offers integrated return-to-work programs for injured workers through a multidisciplinary approach to rehabilitation. The WCB return to work programs provide psychosocial and physical therapy to injured clients while promoting the client's readiness for work.

Education and licensure Master’s Degree or Ph. D. in Psychology from an accredited university Current registration in good standing with the College of Alberta Psychologists (competency with adult populations; clinical (asset: counselling psychology, health/rehabilitation psychology, neuropsychology) Individual professional liability insurance required at time of employment Training/certifications with Cognitive Processing Therapy, Cognitive Behaviour Therapy, EMDR and other evidence-based treatments highly desired Applied Experience 2 yrs. of clinical experience working with adult populations on return-to-work is preferred Experience with chronic pain and occupational rehab is an asset Conducting psychological assessments with adults for various goals, including treatment planning Working in interdisciplinary teams and with third party payers is considered an asset Utilizing telehealth/virtual care methods is considered an asset Additional Abilities Exceptional verbal and written communication skills Able to work both autonomously and as part of interdisciplinary teams Efficient with required clinical documentation Able to manage a diverse caseload within dynamic work setting Demonstrated work ethics, integrity, reliability, maturity, and flexibility Preferred (not required): Bilingual - French English What You'll Love About Us Flexible healthcare and benefits: For permanent full-time colleagues, on top of comprehensive medical, dental, and vision coverage, we offer employees, and their family members help with up to 100% coverage of long-term prescriptions.
