MedStaff is currently seekingfacility registered nurses (RNs) and registered practical nurses (RPNs) to join our dynamic team We offervarious assignments in hospitals and long term care facilities across the GTA and surrounding areas. The facility RN/RPN provides nursing care within the scope of his/her education and experience to patients in a facility setting.Responsibilities:Provide nursing care to patients according to the written plan of careEvaluate effectiveness of treatment plan(s) and adjust accordingly in consultation with the patient/family/caregiver and other health care professionalsReport/communicate observations to the appropriate individual(s) as necessaryAct as a patient advocate by protecting and promoting patient rightsTreat patients with compassion and respect, recognizing and valuing diversityMaintain confidentiality of patient and/or hospital informationFollow S.R.T. MedStaff’s and the assigned facility’s written policies and proceduresWork as a team player with other health care professionals and service providersQualifications:Current registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario, in good standingMinimum 1-year full time work experience as an RN/RPN within the past 2 yearsCurrent CPR (BCLS) Certificate; ACLS/NRP for Specialty NursesMeet health surveillance requirements of the Public Hospitals ActVSS within the past yearof hire confirming absence of a criminal history/recordSchedule:Shifts are 8 and 12 hours in length, depending on the facility and their needsMust be available to work aminimum of 4 shifts per monthFlexible to work all shifts (days, evenings, and nights) including weekdays, weekends, and statutory holidaysWe thank you for applying to S.R.T.
