Job Description

Our Public Sector client is seeking a full-time, permanent HR Director, Supply Chain to join their growing team This is a hybrid opportunity (3x/week) in Downtown Toronto.

This role leads HR’s partnership with Supply Chain & Wholesale, leads a team of Business Partners, and is considered a key contributor to the following areas: workforce planning, talent management, change management, organizational design, and labour/employee relations.

Responsibilities:
  1. Workforce Planning:
  2. Utilizes data to forecast talent needs.
  3. Collaborates on organization-wide planning strategy.
  4. Drives innovation and optimization.
  5. Organizational Design:
  6. Recommends and supports design solutions.
  7. Aligns with workforce plans and business needs.
  8. Develops OD strategies to promote culture shift and client performance.
  9. Talent Management:
  10. Implements talent programs and succession planning.
  11. Guides engagement and talent calibration.
  12. Cultivates a culture of continuous improvement.
  13. Change Management:
  14. Cultivates a growth mindset for change readiness.
  15. Advises on change strategies and promotes HR Operating Model.
  16. Labour & Employee Relations:
  17. Provides advice aligned with legislative obligations.
  18. Drives outcomes while fostering constructive labour relations.
  19. People Leadership:
  20. Inspires high performance through clear direction and objectives.
  21. Embraces continuous improvement and fosters open communication.
Requirements:

Education in HR, Business, Industrial Relations, Organizational Development, or related field.

8+ years of progressive and relevant HR experience within a Supply Chain & Wholesale environment.

Experience working in a unionized environment is mandatory.
