Role Description We’re gearing up for the launch of a major animated film, driven by a viral-first marketing strategy designed to capture attention and fuel both streaming and retail success. With hundreds of videos, edits, memes, and posts being deployed across dozens of creators and accounts, quality control is mission-critical. As QA Manager, you’ll lead the team responsible for ensuring that every piece of content meets brand, narrative, and cultural standards. You’ll define and enforce the greenlight criteria that determine which moments scale, and which don’t, playing a pivotal role in shaping how the world experiences this release. Key Responsibilities Own and maintain QA checklist criteria for clippers, editors, meme pages, and influencers. Lead daily/weekly content review sessions with the QA team to ensure alignment with campaign goals. Approve, flag, or reject content prior to publication based on brand integrity and narrative fit. Maintain and update an asset tracker for all content, monitoring status (live, pending, rejected) in real time. Provide structured feedback loops to creators and internal teams for continuous improvement. Partner with campaign leads to ensure QA workflows integrate seamlessly into production timelines. Qualifications Proven experience in quality assurance, content moderation, or campaign management within media, marketing, or entertainment. Strong eye for detail and ability to spot off-brand or off-narrative content quickly. Deep understanding of internet culture, meme formats, and digital storytelling. Excellent organizational and leadership skills; ability to manage workflows across distributed teams. Strong communication skills with the ability to provide clear, actionable feedback to creators and vendors. Hybrid role based in Vancouver (in-office + remote flexibility).
