Reporting directly to the Director of Sales, this position will consistently work to define and develop new business opportunities that may be available and bring any opportunities forward. The ideal candidate will also possess exceptional training, presentation, sales, interpersonal & communication skills and maintain great working relationships with all internal and external stakeholders.ResponsibilitiesDrive growth of PEAK and Home Depot market share within the assigned territoryManage activities within approved budget parametersAnalyze sales reports and create action plansAddress underperforming and over‑performing stores with action plans, then share the best practices with the entire sales and customer service teamRepresent PEAK professionally at all times, ensuring alignment with company values and brand imageBuild and maintain strong relationships with Home Depot associates at all levels – including store, district, and regional teamsSchedule and conduct regular meetings with Home Depot’s regional, district, and store management teamsDeliver engaging product knowledge sessions, training programs, and in‑store demonstrations for Home Depot associatesIdentify and develop new business opportunities within Home Depot stores and regionsSupport new product launches, store resets, and remodels; plan and participate in special store events and promotional activitiesCreate and maintain the Planogram database to ensure accuracy and alignment with merchandising standardsAttend Home Depot Meeting and fully participatePlan and share a monthly schedule of your store walks in advanceAttend Home Depot events in your regionPerform any other tasks and duties as requested by management from time to timeQualificationsMinimum 5 years of retail sales or field training experienceProven ability to train, coach, and motivate store associates to drive sales performanceExperience in account management or manufacturer representation, preferably in the home improvement industryPrevious experience working with or selling to big‑box retailers or distributors (e.g., Home Depot, Lowe’s, RONA, Canadian Tire)Confident and professional communicator – comfortable presenting and building relationships at store and district management levelsHighly self‑motivated and disciplined; able to work independently while managing a travel‑heavy scheduleWillingness and ability to travel extensively (approximately 90% local travel by car within GTA and nearby regions, occasional air travel as required)Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple store visits, trainings, and priorities effectivelyProficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint) and comfortable with digital reporting toolsPost‑secondary education in business, marketing, or a related field is an asset but not requiredCompensationStarting from $85,000 depending on experience; plus discretionary bonus and gas card.The Peak Group of Companies is an equal opportunity employer.
