If you're passionate about automation, containerization, and mentoring junior admins, this is the role for you.What You'll Be Doing:Install, configure, and manage Linux environments (Ubuntu, Red Hat)Maintain and optimize virtualized environments using KVM and Apache CloudStackMonitor system performance, ensure uptime, and troubleshoot incidentsAutomate routine tasks using Bash, Python, or PowerShellImplement and manage configuration using Ansible or PuppetAdminister containerized environments (Docker/Kubernetes)Apply security patches, manage user permissions, and enforce best security practicesCollaborate with cross-functional teams on infrastructure projectsLead and mentor junior administrators on the teamWhat You Bring:5+ years of Linux systems administration experience (Ubuntu and Red Hat)Hands-on experience with KVM, VMWare, and/or Apache CloudStackProficiency in scripting (Bash, Python, PowerShell)Strong knowledge of containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)Familiarity with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab)Strong understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, routing, and Linux security best practicesExperience with backup tools (Veeam, Acronis)Previous mentorship or team leadership experienceCertifications like RHCE or LFCE are a plusBonus Points For:Experience with Apache CloudStack (strongly preferred)Familiarity with hybrid infrastructure and scaling secure systemsExtended health and dental coverageGroup RRSP with matching programHealth spending accountSupport for continuing education and certificationsWork-from-home flexibilityOn-site parkingCasual dress codeFree snacks and beveragesTeam socials and company eventsDetermining compensation for this role (and others) at Vaco/Highspring depends upon a wide array of factors including but not limited to the individual's skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, office location and other geographic considerations, as well as other business and organizational needs.
