**responsibilities**:

- Responsible for day-to-day server management and support
- Assists with server configurations, upgrades, and migrations
- Troubleshoots server issues and provides support to other teams
- Participates in the planning and execution of server upgrades and migrations
- Works closely with the L3 Systems Administrator to resolve more complex server issues
- Implements basic automation tasks to improve efficiency and reduce manual tasks
- Performs daily backups using Veeam or Acronis and ensures that backups are complete and recoverable

**Requirements**:

- Minimum of 5 years of experience in server administration
- Strong experience in Linux and Windows Server administration
- Knowledge of server security policies and procedures
- Familiarity with Veeam or Acronis backup software
- Ability to implement basic automation tasks

**Technical Qualifications**:

- Knowledgeable about server security policies and procedures, and should have the ability to secure servers, including firewalls, network security, and data protection.
- Familiar with using Veeam or Acronis backup software to create, manage, and restore backups.
- Has the ability to implement basic automation tasks using tools such as PowerShell, bash, or scripts.
- Strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to troubleshoot issues, find solutions, and resolve problems.
- Experience in coaching, guiding, and providing support to junior team members

- Linux Professional Institute Certification (LPIC-1)
- CompTIA Linux+
- Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate
- Veeam Certified Engineer (VMCE)
- Acronis Certified Engineer (ACE)

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $80,000.00-$90,000.00 per year
