POSITION OVERVIEW

dormakaba is seeking an Assembler 2 based in Montreal, QC. This role will report directly to the Production Supervisor and is responsible for the assembly, the visual inspection, the testing, and the packing of our electronic locks.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • Prepare the assembly station as in alignment with the production order slip
  • Assemble locks either by hand or with manual or electric tools
  • Test and verify locks are working properly aaccording to specifications
  • Repair defective locks by either reassembling or replacing defective parts
  • Identify and report defective components and malfunctions or deviations on the assembly line
  • Pack the completed locks
  • Prepare sub-assemblies as needed

WHAT WE REQUIRE

  • High school diploma
  • English or French speaking
  • Experience in assembly of many complex and diverse products

WHAT WE PREFER

  • Proficiency in a variety of assembly procedures
  • Assembly experience with complex and diverse products
  • Experience operating a pneumatic screwdriver
  • Opened to cross training
