We’re looking for an Intermediate Technician - Electronics to join our Satellite Systems team in Montreal. Role: This is an entry-level skilled position. Under supervision, the technician performs tasks related to established methods and processes, working from written instructions or general directions on equipment and systems of moderate complexity. Responsibilities: Assemble or modify test models and experimental setups based on instructions or supervision. Perform installation, repair, testing, and maintenance of equipment, subsystems, and systems. Participate in testing under supervision. Record test and experiment results. Read and interpret technical drawings. Assist senior personnel with various tasks. Perform routine maintenance on equipment. Contribute to preparing time and cost estimates. Research and suggest parts or components for tests and fixtures. Participate in programming and startup of automated equipment using provided software. Follow internal procedures and health and safety rules. Perform other related tasks as needed. Qualifications: College diploma or equivalent in mechanical, aeronautical engineering, or related field, or relevant experience. 2 to 3 years of relevant experience. Fluency in spoken and written French; knowledge of English is an asset.
