We combine experience, engineering excellence, and innovation to push the boundaries of space technology.We are seeking an Intermediate Technician - Electronics for our Satellite Systems team at our Montreal office.Role:This is an entry-level skilled position. Under the guidance of experienced technicians or engineering staff, you will perform tasks related to established methods and processes, working from written instructions or general directions on equipment and systems of moderate complexity.Responsibilities:Assemble or modify test models and experimental setups based on specific instructions or supervision.Perform installation, repair, testing, and maintenance of equipment, subsystems, and systems.Participate in testing activities under supervision.Record test or experiment results.Read and interpret technical drawings.Assist senior personnel with various tasks.Conduct periodic maintenance on equipment.Assist in preparing time and cost estimates.Research and recommend parts or components for tests and fixtures.Participate in programming and startup of automated equipment using provided software.Follow internal procedures and safety rules.Perform other related tasks as required.Qualifications:College diploma or equivalent in mechanical, aeronautical engineering, or related field; relevant experience may be considered.2 to 3 years of relevant experience.Fluency in spoken and written French; knowledge of English is an asset.Schedule:Training days: Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:00 PMWeekend day shift: Friday to Sunday, 6:00 AM - 6:00 PMJoin #TeamMDA and be part of a purpose-driven, innovative team pushing the boundaries of space exploration.
