OverviewInfrastructure Specialist – HybridJoin a dynamic team where your expertise in WAN/LAN, virtualization, and data center technologies is essential for maintaining our critical infrastructure.As an Infrastructure Specialist, reporting to the Senior Manager of Infrastructure and CT, you will play a crucial role in maintaining, troubleshooting, and optimizing Canon Canada’s network and telephony systems. Your contributions will be key to ensuring high availability, exceptional performance, and unwavering resilience across our infrastructure.ResponsibilitiesKey Responsibilities:Maintaining and troubleshooting a production enterprise WAN/LAN infrastructureScheduling, coordinating, and executing upgrades and improvements to the WAN/LAN/WLANPartnering with the Systems Admin team to support the project work for the data centre environment, including VM Ware, Microsoft Windows, SAN, web servers, printing, backups, and scriptingResearching, recommending, implementing, and monitoring improvements to existing LAN/WAN architecture and network management systemsResolving escalated issues from the help deskDeveloping and supporting project plans and managing the processCompleting Installations and configurations of Microsoft Teams VOIP infrastructureConducting configuration of settings within contact centre, and administering the end-user settingsQualificationsTo Succeed, You Will Have:Post-Secondary Education in Information Technology, or NetworkingMinimum of 3 years of related work experienceCisco Certified Network Associate certification is requiredCisco Certified Network Professional certification is considered an assetSuperb computer/technical skills to troubleshoot and resolve highly technical network issues and problemsExcellent analytical skills to resolve and troubleshoot system-wide enterprise problemsStrong project/process management skillsAbility to prioritize and balance projects and incoming technical issuesWhy Join?HYBRID WORKWe offer a Hybrid work schedule.
