Major Duties & Responsibilities Welcome all customers and set expectations Custom fit glasses and precisely place prescriptions in lenses Act as a leader in optical acumen Take and record measurements, accurately adjust/fit eyewear with attention to detail, ensuring finished eyewear meets standards and customer needs Assist team with complex product needs and prescriptions Use technology accurately and efficiently despite time pressure and customer volume; demonstrate exceptional product knowledge and use appropriate tools Proactively explore root causes of issues, think forward, ensure customer satisfaction and exceed expectations through solutions Multi‑task, prioritize and manage time with competing priorities Strive to achieve exceptional results on brand KPIs and competencies Take pride in store appearance, help keep the store clean, attractive and organized Inform management of safety opportunities; demonstrate safe work practices Be resourceful and self‑motivated, seeking continual learning, improvement and results Adhere to company policies and procedures, including discounts, promotions and inventory management Basic Qualifications High School graduate or equivalent State licensure Optical dispensing experience Strong customer service skills: communicator, listener and team builder Knowledge of current store merchandise Strong basic math skills Awareness of current fashion trends Selling skills – ability to use and carry an iPad/tablet Familiarity with POS, computers and calculators Embrace new technology and change Preferred Qualifications Previous customer service and retail experience Employee pay is determined by multiple factors, including geography, experience, qualifications, skills and local minimum wage requirements.
