Compensation will be based on experience and discussed during the interview process.Job DescriptionWe are currently seeking a Senior Data Consultant – Hydro to join our client’s team on a long‑term contract basis. As a Senior Data Consultant – Hydro, you will be responsible for providing expert data analysis and consulting services to a hydro client in Ottawa, ON. You will work closely with our client to understand their business needs and provide them with data‑driven solutions that help them achieve their goals.Key ResponsibilitiesCollaborate with clients to understand their business objectives and data requirementsAnalyze and interpret complex data sets to identify trends, patterns, and insightsDevelop data models and visualizations to present findings and recommendations to clientsWork on bringing data into an existing data lakeWork with cross‑functional teams to implement data solutions and ensure their effectivenessStay up‑to‑date with industry trends and advancements in data analysis and technologyProvide guidance and support to junior data consultants on the teamQualificationsExperience working with data and clients in the hydro or energy industry is mandatoryMinimum of 5 years of experience in data analysis and consultingPrior working experience with Snowflake, Azure Databricks and OracleStrong knowledge of data analysis techniques and tools, such as SQL, Python, and TableauExperience working with data coming from Connexo is a plusExcellent communication and presentation skillsAbility to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneouslyStrong problem‑solving and critical‑thinking skillsSeniority levelMid‑Senior levelEmployment typeContractJob functionInformation TechnologyIndustryHydro / Energy #J-18808-Ljbffr
