What You’ll Do: Lead with Excellence: Manage the day-to-day operations of the housekeeping department, supervising the team, managing schedules, conducting training, and ensuring all guest rooms and public areas are spotless. Inspire & Develop: Conduct performance evaluations, provide coaching and feedback, and oversee the training and development of your team. Maintain High Standards: Ensure all guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house areas are cleaned to the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene. Implement Policies: Develop and implement housekeeping policies and procedures to ensure consistency and quality of service. Manage Operations: Oversee schedules, assign tasks, and ensure all housekeeping duties are completed on time and to a high standard. Control Expenses: Monitor and control housekeeping expenses, including labor and supply costs. Maintain Inventory: Keep track of housekeeping supplies and equipment, ordering replacements as needed. Respond Promptly: Address guest requests and complaints promptly, taking appropriate action to resolve issues. Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Strong communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with guests, team members, and senior management. Knowledge of cleaning techniques and housekeeping standards. Familiarity with inventory management and budgeting. Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
