What you’ll do Lead team through cultural and technological transformation from operational execution to collaborative tool development and intent‑based automation Develop and execute comprehensive transformation plan including skill development roadmaps, training programs, and new process implementations Upskill team in Python coding, TM Forum Autonomous Networking principles, and data modeling languages (YANG) for network configuration Mentor and coach team members while fostering culture of continuous learning, experimentation, and cross‑team knowledge sharing Strategically integrate provisioning team with development departments to accelerate delivery of intent‑based automation tools Establish workflows enabling team participation in design, development, testing, and deployment of automation applications Ensure continuity of current network provisioning operations while managing end‑to‑end deployment, upgrades, and service delivery Champion NetDevOps principles, CI/CD pipelines, and automated testing adoption within team's evolving responsibilities Collaborate with Engineering, Architecture, Product Management, and Network Operations while communicating progress and challenges to senior leadership Qualifications What you bring Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Telecommunications, or a related technical field. Minimum of 7+ years of experience in IP networking, with at least 3 years in a leadership or management role focused on network operations or automation. Strong foundational knowledge of IP networking concepts, protocols (e.g., BGP, OSPF, MPLS), and device configurations (Nokia, Juniper, Ciena, etc.). Proven ability to develop and implement training programs and mentor technical professionals. Experience operating in an Agile/Scrum environment. Great‑to‑haves Demonstrated experience in leading transformational change within technical teams, ideally within a networking context. Hands‑on experience with network automation tools and scripting (e.g., Ansible, Python, Jinja2). Familiarity with the TM Forum's Autonomous Networks levels and concepts. Experience with data modeling (e.g., YANG) and/or network element drivers is highly desirable. Advanced knowledge of English is required because you will most of the time interact in English with external parties (clients, suppliers, candidates, external partners, etc.) and internal parties (colleagues, internal partners, stakeholders, etc.) and work with IT tools whose interface is only accessible in English as part of this position's main responsibilities given its national scope. Salary Range: $110,000-$166,000 Performance Bonus or Sales Incentive Plan: 20%Actual total compensation will be determined based on factors such as knowledge, skills, performance and experience.
