We are people who go the extra mile to ensure peak performance for our customer’s homes electrical, plumbing, and heating/cooling systems.We are seeking a motivated and skilledResidential New Construction Sheet Metal Installer to join our team at KNIGHT. This role focuses on installing furnaces, air conditioning systems and ductwork piping in new residential builds. You’ll work with builders, site supervisors, and other trades to ensure timely, high-quality installations that meet Alberta Building Code and safety standards.Fabricate, measure, cut, and install sheet metal duct systems for furnaces, HRVs, and exhaust systems in new homes.Assemble and install fittings, boots, plenums, and air distribution systems.Read and interpret blueprints, layouts, and job specifications.Install and support duct systems using appropriate hangers and fasteners.Ensure all installations meet building codes, mechanical standards, and company quality requirements.Collaborate with gasfitters and HVAC technicians during full-system installations.Maintain safe and organized work areas and followAlberta OHS safety standards.Troubleshoot and make adjustments as needed to ensure system performance.Education/Experience/Skills2+ years of experience in residential sheet metal installation (new construction experience preferred).Registered Sheet Metal Apprentice or Journeyman Certificate (Alberta)preferred.Strong knowledge of duct layout, fabrication, and installation techniques.Ability to read blueprints and mechanical drawings.Valid Class 5 driver’s licence and reliable transportation.WHMIS, and First Aid certifications are assets.Strong attention to detail, safety, and craftsmanship.Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in attics, crawlspaces, and all weather conditions.Clear Criminal RecordValid drivers license, with clean driving recordAble to perform physical work (bending, lifting, carrying, climbing ladders/stairs, loading/unloading) parts up to 50 pounds in weight.Strong interpersonal and customer relations skillsWhat We OfferAt Right Time we expect a lot from our employees.
