Function Engineering and Engineering Services Job Summary You will report directly to the Rotating Equipment and Reliability Supervisor to provide on-site reliability engineering expertise. You will lead the site’s reliability program, identify areas for equipment and process improvements, and collaborate with other engineering disciplines, operations, maintenance, and EHS to ensure solutions meet our goals. You will help enhance safe, efficient, reliable, and environmentally friendly operations. You Will Identify equipment failure trends by tracking MTBFs using reliability data and interactions with Operations & Maintenance teams Develop and maintain the site’s 5-year reliability plan Interpret reliability data and guide failure mitigation/reliability improvement plans Collaborate with the Maintenance team on repair planning for critical equipment failures Lead root cause failure analysis on major equipment failures and manage improvement action items Develop and implement new maintenance procedures and monitor the effectiveness of improvement initiatives Perform equipment criticality analysis and ensure adequate spare parts for all critical assets Support a preventative/predictive/condition-based monitoring program for critical assets Support capital projects to ensure proper equipment selection and installation Complete minor projects related to equipment or process changes for improved asset reliability Manage incident investigation and action item deadlines Update and manage the site’s CMMS equipment and material data to ensure compliance with CF criteria Collaborate with other departments to ensure reliability is integrated into our organization Support Turnaround activities Lead Management of Change for changes related to Reliability or Maintenance improvements Support and participate in all Environmental, Health, and Safety programs and activities; Promote EH&S programs and ensure compliance towards a zero-incident worksite Demonstrates leadership visibility, ensuring actions continually reinforce continuous improvement Supervisory Relationships Position Reports To: Rotating Equipment and Reliability Engineering Supervisor Subordinate Positions: None Incumbent Attributes BS degree in Engineering (Mechanical) Previous rotating equipment exposure in a continuous chemical production or refinery environment will be an asset 3 years’ minimum experience within a chemical manufacturing, refining, or oil and gas industry Experience in reliability-centered maintenance, failure analysis, and root cause investigations Willingness to work alternative schedules on a short-term basis CF Industries (Terra International Canada Inc.) is deemed a safety-sensitive manufacturing site. Salary The estimated base pay for this position is typically between $114,400.00 and $164,400.00. The actual base pay may be influenced by factors such as education, training, skills, qualifications, competencies, years of experience, job-related knowledge, and the scope of the role.
