Function: Engineering and Engineering Services Job Summary: You will report directly to the Rotating Equipment and Reliability Supervisor to provide on-site reliability engineering expertise. You will lead the site's reliability program, identifying areas for equipment and process improvements. You will enhance safe, efficient, reliable, and environmentally friendly operations by collaborating with other engineering disciplines, operations, maintenance, and EHS to ensure solutions meet our goals. Job Description: You will report directly to the Rotating Equipment and Reliability Supervisor to provide on-site reliability engineering expertise . You will lead the site's reliability program, identifying areas for equipment and process improvements . You will enhance safe, efficient, reliable, and environmentally friendly operations by collaborating with other engineering disciplines, operations, maintenance, and EHS to ensure solutions meet our goals. You will:Identify equipment failure trends by tracking MTBFs using reliability data and interactions with Operations & Maintenance teamsDevelop and maintain the site's 5-year reliability planInterpret reliability data and guide failure mitigation/reliability improvement plansCollaborate alongside the Maintenance team on repair planning for critical equipment failuresLead root cause failure analysis on major equipment failures and manage improvement action items.Develop and implement new maintenance procedures and monitor the effectiveness of improvement initiativesPerform equipment criticality analysis and ensure adequate spare parts for all critical assetsSupport a preventative/predictive/condition-based monitoring program for critical assetsSupport capital projects to ensure proper equipment selection and installationComplete minor projects related to equipment or process changes for improved asset reliabilityManage incident investigation and action item deadlinesUpdate and manage the site's CMMS equipment and material data to ensure compliance with CF criteriaCollaborate with other departments to ensure reliability is integrated into our organization Support Turnaround activities Lead Management of Change for changes related to Reliability or Maintenance improvements Support and participate in all Environmental, Health, and Safety programs and activities; Promote EH&S programs and ensure compliance towards a zero-incident worksiteDemonstrates leadership visibility, ensuring actions continually reinforce continuous improvement Supervisory Relationships: Position Reports To: Rotating Equipment and Reliability Engineering Supervisor Subordinate Positions: None IV. Incumbent Attributes: BS degree in Engineering (Mechanical)Previous rotating equipment exposure in a continuous chemical production or refinery environment will be an asset3 years' minimum experience within a chemical manufacturing, refining, or oil and gas industryExperience in reliability-centered maintenance, failure analysis, and root cause investigations.Willingness to work alternative schedules on a short-term basisCF Industries (Terra International Canada Inc.) is deemed a safety-sensitive manufacturing site. Salary The estimated base pay for this position is typically between $ 114,400.00 and $164,400.00 The actual base pay for the position may be influenced by factors such as education, training, skills, qualifications, competencies, years of experience, job-related knowledge, and the scope of the role, and may be outside the posted pay range.
