As a result, career advancement is based on your success at the company but is unlimited.The ideal candidate for this dynamic and challenging role should be capable of the following:A Day in the life of a Geotechnical Engineer at Pinchin :You will work with a team of engineers and technicians to deliver all types of geotechnical projects.You will be responsible for the delivery of small to medium sized projects, and assist in the delivery of large projects.Manage geotechnical investigations including field coordination, subcontractors, budget and schedule.Engineering design and assessment to various geotechnical systems including foundation design, slope stability, settlement analysis, etc.Develop project scopes, budgets, schedules, and proposals.Prepare geotechnical reports and memorandums.Assist with Client Management and Business DevelopmentWhat You Bring To The Pinchin TeamUniversity degree in Geotechnical, Civil or Geological Engineering, or a related discipline.Intermediate level experience in geotechnical engineering with project management experience.Professional Member (P.Eng.) with or the ability to be licensed with the Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientist of AlbertaAble to work closely with our project teams across the company where geotechnical support may be of assistance, such as Environmental Due Diligence and Remediation and Building Sciences.Demonstrated interpersonal skills, showcasing the ability to communicate effectively, as well as proactively respond to clients on time sensitive items.The ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from staff, clients and managers.Proven technical writing skills in the preparation of geotechnical engineering reports and letters for clients.What Pinchin Offers YouA challenging, rewarding leadership position with the opportunity to mentor junior technical professionals.Competitive compensation, benefits, and Extended group benefits (we pay the premium) with no waiting period.Membership in our internal Communities of Practice, a national support network for technical problem solving and collaboration led by our top technical experts.Casual dress codeProfit share bonuses and an RRSP Matching ProgramFlexible workplace to support work life balance.Various professional development and employee recognition programs.Educational and professional membership dues reimbursement.Employee Referral Bonus Program.Corporate Discount Program.Check what Pinchin has to offer: Benefits (pinchin.com)What’s next?
