Role Overview Lead infrastructure scaling and security as we grow from processing billions in payments to 10B+ and beyond. Own critical architecture decisions and ensure compliance with PCI DSS 4.0 and SOC 2 Type II. Key Responsibilities Design and implement infrastructure for high-volume, high-reliability financial systems Architect and maintain GCP environments (Cloud Run, Cloud SQL, Pub/Sub, Cloud Deploy, BigQuery, KMS) Manage Terraform codebase for provisioning and configuration Build observability systems with Datadog for performance monitoring and alerting Drive security initiatives: encryption, secrets management, network security, compliance automation Optimize infrastructure for performance, reliability, and cost efficiency Collaborate with engineering teams on deployment and scaling best practices Requirements 5+ years in infrastructure/DevOps engineering; 3+ years hands‑on GCP experience Expertise in GCP services, Terraform, CI/CD pipelines, containerization (Docker) Strong knowledge of security practices and compliance frameworks Proven track record with high-volume, high-availability systems Excellent communication and ownership mindset Nice to Have Experience with fintech/payment systems PostgreSQL tuning, Redis optimization PCI DSS/SOC 2 compliance experience Familiarity with Vanta, Cloudflare, NestJS, TypeScript Seniority level Mid-Senior level Employment type Full-time Job function Information Technology Referrals increase your chances of interviewing at Agilus Work Solutions by 2x Get notified about new Infrastructure Engineer jobs in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. #J-18808-Ljbffr
