You’ll be involved in a variety of large-scale projects where your expertise truly makes a difference. Under the supervision of Julien Rivard, P.Eng. (Director, Fire Protection), this opportunity offers: A technical leadership role where you can mentor and develop emerging talent. Significant autonomy and influence in technical decisions and client relationships. The flexibility to work from our offices in Montréal, Longueuil, Laval — your choice. Your main responsibilities Lead teams of technicians and engineers, and coordinate efforts among various internal and external stakeholders to deliver fire protection projects across multiple sectors (institutional, office, commercial, cultural, and residential). Provide technical supervision, coordination, verification, and design for various fire protection projects. Ensure client satisfaction throughout project delivery. Conduct site inspections and assessments of existing installations. Analyze, design, and adapt building-related systems. Develop new systems and improve existing ones. Evaluate construction cost budgets. Profile sought Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or Building Engineering. Minimum of eight (8) years of experience in fire protection systems. Proficiency in French, both spoken and written. Strong knowledge of AutoCAD, Revit, and Microsoft 365 Suite. Versatility, autonomy, and excellent communication skills. Ability to mentor and supervise junior engineers and technicians. Collaborative mindset and positive leadership to influence technical decisions and client relationships.
