Senior Project Management Specialist – IT Infrastructure

Our Federal Crown client, is seeking a Senior Project Management Specialist to support a major IT transformation program. This role requires deep expertise in managing medium-to-large infrastructure modernization and network security initiatives in complex enterprise environments. This is a hybrid role based in Ottawa. Candidates must be able to work onsite 12 days per month (or as required) and meet security clearance requirements. Requirements University degree or college diploma in information technology, project management, business administration or a related field A minimum of ten (10) years of recent demonstrated experience in the field of IT infrastructure and network security A minimum of five (5) years of demonstrated experience as a Senior Project Management Specialist in overseeing medium-to-large infrastructure modernization projects in a complex environment Strong demonstrated business acumen, including the ability to identify and communicate value and translate business needs into project objectives Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to engage technical and non-technical audiences Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to make sound decisions and judgments, especially in identifying and mitigating infrastructure risks Demonstrated experience leading multiple initiatives concurrently and effectively managing interdependencies Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with others to achieve objectives Additional Qualifications Demonstrated experience managing infrastructure lifecycle programs, including hardware evergreening, and integration of cloud-native technologies across hybrid environments Demonstrated experience leading enterprise-scale network security projects, including firewall architecture modernization, cloud-based segmentation, and Zero Trust implementations Demonstrated knowledge of the Bank’s functions and core business processes PMP Certification SCRUM Master Certification #J-18808-Ljbffr
