The operations coordinator is responsible for coordinating and scheduling the daily operations of our glass technicians, ensuring that all our customer needs are met in a timely and efficient manner. The ideal applicant will have excellent organization skills, great communication skills, and the ability to multitask with a strong understanding of urgency.The operations coordinator will be responsible to ensuring timely ordering of materials and motivating the team to achieve our weekly and monthly targets.Key Responsibilities:Scheduling & DispatchingCoordinating and scheduling customer appointments and installations, ensuring optimal allocation of resources, and ensuring Emergency Services are executed in a timely mannerMonitoring the daily jobs to ensure timely completionAdjusting the schedule as required to meet targetsCustomer ServiceAct as the primary point of contact for our customers regarding scheduling, updates on orders, and service inquiresAddress and resolve customer issues and concerns in a timely mannerCommunicationMaintain clear and effective communication with internal and external customersUpdate technicians on any schedule changes, urgent calls, and other relevant informationUpdate customers if there are any schedules changesOrdering of Inventory SuppliesEnsure materials are ordered in a timely mannerEnsuring that all required materials, hardware, and details are available prior to installationRecord KeepingIdentify and address any scheduling concerns and other operational issues as they ariseDevelop and implement solutions to improve scheduling efficiency and service deliveryCompliance & SafetyEnsure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and safety standardsPromote a culture of safety and adherence to protocols among techniciansEducationHighschool Diploma or equivalentExperiencePrevious experience in scheduling, dispatching or related field is highly desirable (minimum 3-5 years of proven experience)Experience in the glass industry is beneficialSkillsStrong organizational and multitasking skillsExcellent verbal and written communicationProficient in using scheduling software, and other relevant computer applicationsAbility to respond to situations under pressure in a timely and calm mannerStrong problem-solving skills and attention to detailMust be familiar with word, excel, and GmailHere’s How We Take Care of Our Employees:Paid TrainingBonuses & IncentivesCompany-provided technologyBenefits PackageVacationOpportunities for growth and advancementSchedule:Monday through Friday 8am to 5pmThe pay range for this position is $23.00 to $30.00, depending on your level of experience.At Glass Doctor, you will be a valued part of our team and community.
