The Opportunity: We are actively searching for full-time and part-time experienced Wellness Therapists to join our team in Regina, Saskatchewan. This role is ideal for Indigenous therapists or those with a deep understanding of First Nations traditions who value independence, cultural integration, and clinical excellence. What We’re Looking For: Education: A degree in Social Work (MSW, or BSW), Psychology (MA), or Educational Psychology (MEd), or Psychiatric Nurse. Experience: At least 5 years of practical clinical counseling experience, with a focus on culturally responsive care. Cultural Knowledge: A strong relationship with Traditional Knowledge and Teachings,with experience incorporating ceremony and land-based healing into therapeutic work. Specialized Skills: Training in somatic approaches to counseling is an asset. Practicalities: Registration with your respective professional regulatory body. A validdriver’s license and reliable vehicle. Your Role: Provide culturally responsive clinical interventions in person, by telehealth, or virtually.Address complex or high-risk situations with expertise and compassion. Combine Indigenous and Western methodologies tailored to individual client needs. Integrate traditional healers and ceremonies into your work where appropriate. Help clients navigate intergenerational trauma, including the impacts of residentialschools. Complete clinical documentation efficiently and accurately.
