Health, Safety & Training Manager On-site | 4 days on / 3 days off | Camp & Travel or Relocation Available Our client is seeking an experienced Health, Safety & Training Manager to lead safety systems, training programs, and emergency response initiatives at their mine site. Reporting to the General Manager, this role ensures compliance with all regulatory requirements and fosters a strong, proactive safety culture across the operation. Key Responsibilities Ensure compliance with OHSA and all applicable legislation Lead and maintain site safety systems, KPIs, and standards Oversee emergency response, mine rescue, and firefighting programs Support safety communication, training, orientation, and contractor management Conduct inspections, audits, incident investigations, and risk assessments Provide oversight to Industrial Hygiene, Safety Training, and on-site Medical Services Build strong relationships with Indigenous partners, employees, and contractors Qualifications 10+ years Health & Safety experience; related diploma or education Industrial or construction H&S experience required; mining experience preferred Knowledge of emergency response, industrial hygiene, and core H&S practices Strong leadership, communication, and relationship-building skills Proficient with Ontario OHSA and related legislation Budgeting and planning experience an asset CRSP or willingness to obtain considered a strong asset Compensation & Benefits Competitive salary + incentive program Extended Health & Dental, STD/LTD Employer-matched group RRSP Relocation package or camp & travel options Seniority level Mid-Senior level Employment type Full-time Job function Management and Manufacturing Industries Mining #J-18808-Ljbffr
