Your Role As the Vice President of Digital Banking & Payments, you will be the strategic driver behind Vancity’s enterprise‑wide digital transformation, shaping vision, guiding execution, and accelerating member engagement through seamless digital experiences. Strategic Leadership Lead the development and implementation of an enterprise‑wide digital strategy aligned with Vancity’s goals. Direct cross‑functional teams delivering technology solutions across online banking, mobile apps, CRM, e‑commerce debit and money movement. Provide executive‑level guidance to increase digital capabilities and utilization. Champion the conversion of legacy operations to digital, ensuring seamless integration. Develop integrated member strategy and digital engagement programs. Strategic Partnerships Act as liaison between technical and business teams during planning, development, and deployment. Communicate regularly with the CEO and Board to propose new capabilities and report progress. Collaborate with the CIO to align team responsibilities. Establish and grow member relationships across digital channels. Innovation & Excellence Research emerging technology trends and assess value of new tools. Foster a culture of exceptional member service through high‑quality products. Ensure platforms meet industry standards and best practices. Leverage data analytics to develop segmentation models for engagement. Explore and define digital products that enhance member relationships. Drive sales through online channels and share insights to grow omni‑channel performance. What You’ll Bring Bachelor’s degree in Business, Technology or related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred. 10+ years of progressive leadership in digital banking, payments or transformation. Proven success leading enterprise‑wide digital initiatives in financial services. Deep expertise in digital platforms, payments, online banking, mobile apps, and CRM. Strong background in member/customer engagement and omni‑channel strategy. Experience with data analytics, personalization technologies and segmentation. Exceptional communication skills and experience presenting to boards, executives and senior leadership. What You’ll Earn The salary range for this role is $177,200 to $266,000 annually. Base pay varies with qualifications, skills and experience.
