Role Overview The Senior Client Relationship Manager (SCRM) is a product generalist who possesses a strong understanding of financial products and services, focusing on cross‑sell and retention of existing business customers. Responsibilities include identifying prospects in target markets, developing sales pipelines, conducting prospect sales calls, and qualifying opportunities with a high level of due diligence. Manage a customer portfolio of moderate to higher complexity, targeting clients with credit authorizations between $5 MM and $25 MM and annual sales between $15 MM and $75 MM. The role is specific to the Core segment of Canadian Business Banking. Responsibilities Champion a customer‑focused creen to deepen client relationships, leveraging broader bank resources, systems, and knowledge. Develop and implement marketing strategies and sales plans for prospects and existing customers. Identify prospects and referrals from internal and external networks. Analyze prospect lists and prioritize business development opportunities based on market data and customer analytics. Determine pricing for existing customer relationshipsmachen and propose financing for prospects, ensuring profitability for the book of business. Partner with internal resources for non‑credit products and refer customers and prospects to the appropriate Canadian Business Banking segment and partners. Directly sell credit and non‑credit commercial products to prospects and customers. Maintain a credit portfolio of authorizations between $5 MM and $25 MM at an acceptable level of risk by completing credit reviews, authorizing requests, ensuring documentation, and monitoring conditions. Coordinate the successful onboarding of clients by completing due diligence, owning KYC requirements, and ensuring all documentation is on file. Ensure ongoing relationship management by interacting with Client Service Associates, leveraging product knowledge, gathering customer feedback, and maintaining updates in shared services systems. Collaborate with shared services, risk, and other partner teams to ensure compliance monitoring, operational risk management, AML/ATF procedures, and collections activities are met. Implement continuous process improvements based on client feedback and internal vehicles such as the Pulse. Champion a culture of diversity and other initiatives aligned with the bank strategy, promoting an inclusive work environment. Operate efficiently while maintaining day‑to‑day controls to meet obligations related to_pago risks, regulatory compliance, operational risk, and conduct risk. Education and Experience Undergraduate degree in business or economics or equivalent work experience. Previous work experience in Commercial Banking of at least 2‑5 years preferred. Training and development as determined by the bank. Skills & Competencies সেইStrong sales and closing skills. Excellent networking, negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills. Strong relationship management and credit skills. Knowledge of bank’s commercial lending, deposit products, and profitability model. Ability to conduct due diligence on customer financials for moderate to higher complexity deals. Proficiency in onboarding, KYC, and AML processes. Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and commercial systems.
