Marie, ON Department: Industrial Operations How do you plan on spending your summer? Our Summer Student Program provides students with the opportunity to take their first steps towards a challenging, international and diverse environment. Summer Student Program Through the program, you’ll work collaboratively with multiple areas of our business, while receiving high‑quality training and mentoring. Tenaris believes that career and development opportunities are key to our future success, which is why we make it a priority to engage our junior team members in strategic, impactful initiatives. To be eligible, you must have recently completed at least one year of post‑secondary education, ending in April 2026, with intent to continue with your studies in the fall. Whether you’re enrolled in university, college, or a technical institution, it is expected that you intend to complete an undergraduate degree through the course of your studies. Available Opportunities All roles are located in Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario; candidates from outside of the city are encouraged to apply. Program is expected to run between the beginning of May or June and the end of August, 2026. Engineering Focused Roles Actively enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s of Science program, majoring in Mechanical, Mechatronics or Electrical Engineering. Other engineering disciplines will also be considered Previous experience working in an industrial setting will be considered an asset Roles available in Operations and Quality Departments Supply Chain Focused Roles Actively enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s university program majoring in Supply Chain Engineering disciplines with interest, minor, or experience in supply chain Business and Health, Safety and Environment Focused Roles Actively enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s university program majoring in Health Safety and Environment, Human Resources, Accounting, and other business majors. Skills Proficient in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel Effective communication skills Analytical, result oriented and collaborative team member Familiarity and proficiency with AutoCAD will be considered an asset Ideal Characteristics Innovative– anticipates the implications of situations, and shares out‑of‑the‑box solutions to business problems. Demonstrate Business Acumen – keenly and quickly understand and manage business situations, risks, and outcomes, in a manner that is likely to lead to a good outcome.
