Leading a small HR team, the HR Director will focus on international growth, integrating HR processes across multiple locations and design and develop HR programs. The ideal HR Director will have 5 years in a leadership role and progressive HR experience, a background in a fast growth industry such as technology is desired. About The OpportunityWe are seeking a strategic and experienced HR leader to oversee all aspects of human resources and support the organization’s growth. The role includes managing a small HR team, designing and implementing HR strategies, and serving as a trusted advisor to senior leadership. About The Position Lead HR operations, including recruitment, onboarding, performance management, employee relations, benefits, and compliance. Develop and execute programs that enhance engagement, professional development, and organizational performance. Drive workforce planning, organizational design, and change management initiatives. Optimize HR systems and tools (HRIS, payroll, benefits, onboarding, and leave management). Foster a positive employee experience through internal communications, culture initiatives, and learning opportunities. Build strong relationships across all levels, providing proactive, strategic, and practical HR guidance. The Requirements 8+ years of progressive HR experience, including 5+ years in a leadership role. Degree or DIploma in Human Resources and CPHR designation. Experience in high-growth or fast-paced technology environments. Strong knowledge of HR best practices, BC employment laws, and compliance. Proven ability to lead change, build trust, and influence across all levels. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills. Skilled in HR systems and using data to drive strategic HR decisions. Compensation Annual salary range up to $150,000 depending on experience. Competitive benefits program. 4 weeks vacation to start. Hybrid 4 days in office, and 1 from home, based on performance after probation and subject to change as business operations require. Education and professional development.
