POSITION SUMMARY:
Reporting to the Manager, Learning & Organizational Development , the Learning & Development Administrator is an entry-level role responsible for updating existing training content aligned with defined branding standards and providing administrative and coordination support to the Learning & Development team.

This position will be a 4 month summer term.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
Update Online Training Modules: Utilize e-learning authoring tool (Articulate Storyline) to update existing training modules and associated resource documents into refreshed templates, ensuring alignment with defined branding standards. Offer recommendations for visual design enhancements to optimize usability and enhance the learning experience.
Learning Management System (LMS) Support: Assist in the operation of the LMS by performing general administration tasks, including training record entry, updating student group membership, and generating training reports.
Assist with Grant Applications: Support the Learning & Development team by entering data for Canada Alberta Job Grant applications, ensuring accuracy and compliance with program requirements.
Support the team with various administrative and coordination tasks as needed.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
2-year college diploma or partial completion of a 4-year degree program in Human Resources, Communications, Adult Education, Instructional Design, or other relevant program.
Prior administrative experience in a business environment preferred.
Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite of products, including Word and PowerPoint.
Familiarity with training content development and authoring tools (e.g., Articulate Storyline or video editing software) would be an asset.
Experience with or willingness to learn new tools and software to support the development and delivery of training programs.
Strong administration, organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize task effectively.
Excellent written communication skills with keen attention to detail.
Positive attitude and a proactive approach.
