Performance & Optimization Specialist Hiring for: Performance & Optimization Specialist 📍 Remote from Canada Must Have: Experience in 5G SA and LTE experience hands on. Experience in Layer Management Strategy assessment both in LTE and 5G Experience in Market/National RF optimization Responsibilities The Performance & Optimization Specialist is responsible for monitoring, analyzing, and optimizing wireless network performance. This includes collecting and assessing network data, identifying abnormalities, diagnosing root causes, and recommending parameter changes, feature trials, software upgrades, and other optimization actions to ensure contractual KPI targets are met. The specialist also prepares daily, weekly, and monthly network performance reports, performs short-term capacity and traffic trend analysis, and supports long-term network strategy planning. Automation techniques are leveraged to reduce analysis time and streamline recurring optimization activities. Required Technical Skills Strong understanding of 5G NSA & SA (both FDD and TDD) and LTE technologies Hands-on experience conducting 5G NSA/SA optimization and feature trials focused on: Coverage optimization (e.g., SRS beamforming) Throughput improvement (DL/UL) Load balancing Layering and traffic steering across bands Hands-on experience with LTE optimization and trials, including: Data/VoLTE drop call improvements Load balancing Layering and traffic steering from low to high bands Ability to analyze internal system logs, eNB/gNB logs, EMIL/DCAP logs, TTI traces for troubleshooting lab and field issues Expertise in UE and eNB/gNB signaling log analysis (UU, X2, S1 interfaces) Proficiency with UE logging tools like QXDM, XCAL, or equivalent Experience using Actix for post-processing drive test logs We are Connectors.
