Financial Analyst, FP&A at a glance The Financial Analyst, FP&A is a key member of the portfolio performance team, responsible for preparation, analysis, and reporting of forecasts, month‑ends, and business proposals. Responsibilities Monitor business performance through analysis of portfolio forecasts, month‑end results, and review of significant variances. Support the financial forecast cycle through established rituals and routines. Execute the monthly actualization process including P&L variance analyses, insights, and issue resolution. Seek opportunities to improve financial planning and analysis processes to provide a high level of service efficiently and effectively. Provide analytical assistance on business results and achieving financial targets via data‑driven insights and recommendations. Qualifications University degree in business, accounting, economics, mathematics or a related field; an accounting designation (e.g., CPA) or near completion is a plus. Strong analytical skills and broad business acumen. Experience in financial planning, analysis, forecasting, and accounting principles. Experience in financial modeling, sensitivity, and scenario analysis is an asset. Ability to work autonomously and think independently. Strong understanding of financial statements. Location Toronto, Ontario – Queen Quay office. Compensation New Hire Base Salary Range: $75,400.00 – $94,200.00.
