We invite you to join People Corporation as a Proposal Writer based in either Burlington or Calgary. In this role you will partner with marketing, sales, and other business units to create winning proposals and support a wide range of sales and marketing activities. The Proposal Writer will lead the full proposal lifecycle—from kickoff meetings and stakeholder coordination to drafting, editing, and final delivery. You will also develop presentation content, maintain an up‑to‑date answer bank, coordinate RFP calendars, and contribute to social media, public relations, and event initiatives. Responsibilities Ensure accurate and timely delivery of RFPs and presentations in line with the OSI brand and strategy. Prepare and maintain different proposal versions—Basic (short form), Custom (standard), and Large client customization. Maintain an up‑to‑date answer bank for future presentations. Coordinate calendar invitations for the RFP flow. Research prospects and work with OSI stakeholders to add exceptional value to proposals. Create and update templates; coordinate production workflow (word processing, graphics, editing, peer review, reproduction, collation, binding, and delivery). Participate in debriefs on proposal outcomes. Engage in strategic discussions to identify best approaches to support ongoing sales growth. Support social media and public relations activities as requested. Maintain an archive of marketing and communication activities. Identify new opportunities for OSI visibility, such as tradeshows, sponsorships, and awards. Qualifications Excellent decision‑making and problem‑solving skills with strong critical thinking and analytical reasoning. Ability to integrate supporting visuals and graphics into proposals and presentations. Exceptional clarity in writing complex information; persuasive, engaging content creation. Excellent customer service and communication skills. Strong prioritization ability when handling multiple urgent challenges. Superior communication strengths (phone, text, email). Superior writing, editing, and proofreading skills for accuracy and quality. Proficiency in researching and obtaining information via the internet, networking, and social media tools. All‑Star Candidates Will Have Relevant education or a degree in Marketing, Communications, English, Business, or a related field (asset). 3+ years of experience in an RFP writing role or similar long‑form marketing writing. Experience utilizing social media for sales outreach (LinkedIn, YouTube, Twitter, etc.). Graphic design and social media promotion experience (asset). Fluency in Adobe Suite and graphic development tools. Understanding of disability management/workers’ compensation services or related consulting practices (asset). Strong computer software skills, especially Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook. Fully bilingual in English / French (written and oral) is an asset. Organizational Solutions Inc.
