About Our ClientOur client is sourcing an Accountant for a 3-month contract.About the OpportunityProcess and reconcile real estate transactions and agent commission payments with accuracy and timelinessAssist the accounts payable team where requiredAssist the Accounting Manager with month-end and year-end closing activities, including journal entries and accrualsPerform general ledger analysis and Account / Bank reconciliations to ensure accuracy of financial dataAssist in preparation of financial reports for management reviewAssist in the Budgeting process and other ad-hoc financial projects as assignedCollaborate with the Finance team to improve processes and strengthen internal controlsAbout YouBachelor’s degree in accounting or finance required3–5 years of relevant accounting experience in a similar roleStrong understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, and reconciliationsProficiency in Microsoft Excel, including lookups and pivot tablesStrong analytical, organizational, and time management skillsExcellent interpersonal and communication skills to work effectively with agents, vendors, and team membersHigh level of accuracy, attention to detail, and ability to meet deadlinesHigh energy, positive, collaborative, approachable, team-oriented style, follow through with a high level of customer satisfactionComfortable working in fast-paced environment with a sense of urgencyDemonstrate ability to be a self-starter and think independently, proactive not reactiveResults oriented with a “Hands-on, roll-up-the-sleeves,” mentality to get the job doneAnalytical with a healthy dose of intellectual curiosityProcess orientedSolid communication skills, effective ability to interact with all levelsHow to ApplyClick the “Apply Now” button and follow the instructions to submit your resume.
