We are seeking an experienced former judge or senior legal practitioner with a strong background in constitutional law, public law, and human rights to join our advisory committee. This role is suited for an individual who enjoys contributing their expertise to emerging policy‑innovation initiatives and providing high‑level guidance on legal principles, institutional design, and rights‑based governance. Key Responsibilities Provide expert advice on constitutional frameworks, separation of powers, and rule‑of‑law principles. Review and critique proposed governance structures to ensure alignment with democratic and rights‑based standards. Offer guidance on complex human‑rights issues, including proportionality, procedural fairness, equality protections, and international norms. Participate in advisory meetings and contribute to strategic discussions around legal integrity, legitimacy, and compliance. Support the development of ethical and legally sound approaches to public participation and collaborative policy processes. Ideal Background Former judge, tribunal chair, or senior counsel with significant experience in constitutional, administrative, or human‑rights law. Strong understanding of comparative constitutional systems and international rights frameworks. Demonstrated ability to interpret complex legal issues and communicate them clearly to multidisciplinary teams. Interest in governance innovation, democratic processes, and emerging models of public legal engagement. Comfortable serving in a non‑executive and advisory capacity. Commitment Flexible, part‑time involvement. Suitable for retired or semi‑retired jurists seeking intellectually meaningful advisory work.
