Structural Senior Engineer

Mission
Our growing Infrastructure team in Ontario is looking for 2 senior structural engineers to join our Kitchener and Bowmanville office. You will work in a strong supportive structural team that is part of a multidiscipline group dedicated to water and wastewater infrastructure projects. You will have the opportunity to take part in our hybrid work model that includes flexible work hours, working from home and in our Kitchener or Bowmanville office.
Primary Responsibilities
- Complete and review structural designs, drawings, and specifications
- Determine construction costs and quantities, and carry out studies and technical reports
- Conduct field work including investigations/inspections for the design, retrofit, remediation and construction of structures
- Establish and monitor engineering fee budgets
- Mentor and supervise the work of junior engineers and technicians
- Liaise with clients, government, regulatory authorities, and contractors
- Review progress and compliance of construction work in accordance with tender documents
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in civil or structural engineering
- Licensed member of the Professional Engineers Ontario (PEO) or eligible
- Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in water, wastewater, and structural engineering
- Valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle
