Reporting to the Assistant Manager, Network Operations, the Network Technician WLAN and OSS provides advanced technical support services for the University's data network systems. The incumbent takes a lead role in the configuration, provisioning, and support of the University's Wireless Local Area Network (WLAN) infrastructure, as well as Operational Support Systems employed by UIT Network Services.To be considered for this opportunity, you will bring the following:Education:University Degree in a relevant discipline, such as Computer Science, Computing Engineering, Information Technology, or an equivalent of 4 years recent experience (defined as within the last five years) working at York University and performing the same or similar tasks.
