They respond to the daily needs of the manufacturing plan and ensure smooth operations.RESPONSIBILITIES:Prioritize and manage supply issues to ensure adherence to the tight production scheduleEnsure supply compliance according to negotiated conditionsProcess orders for assigned commodities and follow up accordinglyShare operational information related to the production plan and notify stakeholders as neededSupport buyers in supplier evaluationExecute merchandise returns and assist buyers with receiving associated creditsKeep performance indicators up to dateUpdate system parameters (MRP: Material Requirement Planning)Control inventory levels and take action in case of surplus/deficitWork on process improvement according to prioritized potential impactsLead continuous improvement projects for the procurement processREQUIRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:DEC or equivalent AEC in a related fieldGood knowledge of manufacturing processes and logisticsAptitude for planning and management, as well as strong organizational skillsPriority management is part of daily activitiesStrong analytical skillsKnowledge of the Office suiteKnowledge of integrated management systems (ERP) is clearly an assetST-AUGUSTIN-DE-DESMAURESOur Saint‑Augustin‑de‑Desmaures site is home to our head office and two of our plants, making it an exciting location with plenty of career opportunities.
