Project Manager Gatineau, QC We're currently hiring for an Experienced Project Manager on behalf of a Construction client of ours located in Gatineau, QC. Our client has been growing their business since 2002 and is on the move again You'll be working under the direction of 34+ years of building experts We are looking for a bilingual candidate with 5+ years of experience. Within this role, you will be responsible for all project efforts, ensuring the designs, budgets, and schedules are met accordingly. You are vital to the team and the company's day-to-day operations/success. Our Project Manager requires a current and valid Reliability Clearance. Job Details Pay: $74,880.00 - $89,960.00/year (Based on 5+ years of experience) Shifts/Hours: Daytime Location: Ottawa and Gatineau areas Job Responsibilities Responsible for overall project effort. Ensures project is built to design, budget, schedule, and quality. Through daily contact with site operations, monitors project performance against the schedule. Addresses cost controls, manpower issues, follows up on deliveries, enforces safety, and quality control. Communicates and coordinates professionally and amicably with (internal) project team, client reps, architect/designer, and subcontractors. Takes lead on all client communication (responses and updates). Related to monitoring performance and schedule: Chases shop drawings and change order pricing. Visits site - Reviews safety, site conditions, and inspects safety board. Ensures policies, procedures, and standards are met. Presents regular progress updates to the management team. Diffuses conflicts in project schedule/budget and proposes corrective actions. Leads/Assists/Reconciles negotiation of claims and disputes with owner and sub-trades. Oversees project closeout to meet new 2-week standard (related to budget as impacts invoicing). Prepares monthly project draws; Coordinates and reviews change order pricing; Reconciles project financials at month-end. Initiates project close-out and pushes deficiency corrections. Other duties as required/directed. Qualifications Current and valid Reliability level security clearance. Valid G class or Class 5 license for job site travels. ASP Certification/Training. Bilingual preferred. Able to work under pressure and with little supervision. Strong attention to detail. Thoroughness and organization. Relationship builder. PC and email proficiency.
