Our Healthcare Professionals work closely with diverse Indigenous communities (First Nations, Inuit and Métis), providing care to community members. We hire passionate team-members from all over Canada who travel on assignments to remote northern communities of British Columbia, Alberta, Manitoba, Ontario, Yukon, Northwest Territories and Nunavut. We provide a unique way to experience an expanded clinical scope of practice while enjoying an adventure at the same time Average assignment durations are 4 weeks and can be extended if desired.The Work You Will DoWork in a team atmosphere performing an expanded scope of practice in communities, providing primary and emergency care to all residents –from newborn to elders –through a nursing station / Health Center in a clinic atmosphereUtilize the skills of observation, assessment, nursing diagnosis, counseling, and health teaching according to care planHealth Promotion, Assessments, planning and implementing care using Best Practice Clinical Practice Guidelines; primary care and emergency care; travel nursing; experience creating care plans; IPAC and communicable disease control, immunizationsEnsure that, on an ongoing basis, the emotional, spiritual, physical comfort and safety of clients are met to the greatest possible extent within the scope of practiceWhy Bayshore?Enjoy fully paid & planned travel assignments while doing what you loveHighly competitive compensation packages, incentives & bonusesComprehensive preparation through orientation and trainingContinual learning and professional developmentDiverse assignments with flexible schedulesBalance work to fit with your life24/7 support from a caring and dedicated team who welcomes you from your first dayWho You AreYou are a graduate from an accredited School of Nursing and have a nursing license through the governing body in good standingYou are a licensed Nurse registered in good standingYou have or are willing to obtain a nursing license through the regulating body in the provinces or territories you wish to workYou meet the required work experienceMandatory skillsets and additional training requirements and reimbursements will be discussed during interviewWe appreciate and thank all applicants.
