Competitive Compensation: Attractive packages, nursing license reimbursements, and incentives for advanced training.Duties & Responsibilities Provide direct nursing care to patients in the Operating Room (OR) according to established standards and hospital policies. Assess patients’ physical and psycho-social needs; identify problems, plan, implement, document, evaluate and coordinate nursing care; perform scrubbing and circulating duties as appropriate. Obtain, check, set up and position supplies, instruments and equipment required for surgery, ensuring instruments and equipment are in working order. Coordinate and provide nursing care to patients according to physician and anesthetist orders and in conformance with established standards and hospital policies.Candidate Requirements Current practicing registration as a Registered Nurse with the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM). A minimum of 18 months (1.5 years) of experience in an Operating Room or PACU environment. Current and valid CPR/BLS certification.
