Field Technician II Responsibilities:
  1. Read work orders or receive oral instructions to determine work assignments and material and equipment needs.
  2. Select pipe sizes and types and related materials according to specifications.
  3. Load, secure, and unload materials and equipment with appropriate tools, machinery, and other equipment according to specifications.
  4. Inspect equipment, company vehicles, and tools for safety and functionality prior to travel to customer sites.
  5. Track and maintain company tools and supplies, report any damage or missing items to Supervisor.
  6. Complete Job Site Analysis for customer or job sites where work is to be performed.
  7. Assemble and secure pipes, fittings, and related equipment, according to project specifications.
  8. Inspect, examine, and test installed systems and pipelines, using pressure gauge, hydrostatic testing, observation, or other methods.
  9. Perform a demonstration of equipment for customers upon install and testing completion if required.
  10. Using hand and power tools, modify, clean, and maintain pipe systems, units, fittings, pumps, and related machines and equipment following specifications.
  11. Follow QSE regulations.
  12. Ensure total customer satisfaction prior to leaving jobsite and answer any questions they may have.
  13. Promote cooperation and good communication with all Branch and Corporate personnel.
  14. Be an active participant in the Company’s Safety Culture.
  15. Know and practice company’s value proposition.
Reasoning Ability:

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations. High level of regular alertness required to adhere to the highest quality safety standards while performing job duties. Listening, recall, and verbal communication skills. Ability to sustain regular mental alertness while performing job duties.

Other Competencies:

Other job competencies required to be successful in this position that are not listed elsewhere include: Able to work a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends. Able to use a calculator, cellular telephone, and tape measure/ruler. Able to read a map and calculate distances. Must be Motivated, Team player, Safety-Oriented, and have a Customer Service orientation.

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:

Valid Driver's License. Appropriate licensing and certification to be able to operate company vehicles and perform assigned duties, including certification for EHS&T and LOD sponsored training programs. Other industry-related certification may be required.
