Document characteristics of products accurately and with technical detail. Initiate Quality Notifications for any non-conforming products. Apply quality assurance procedures and requirements for the inspection of assemblies and to document findings. Identify any potential quality issues early and help to prevent their re-occurrence. Communicate effectively to other Collins Aerospace personnel any quality issues needing resolution. Monitor and utilize calibrated measuring instruments. Safely Perform other duties as assigned. Scan completed documents into our electronic records management system. Qualifications You Must Have HS diploma or GED is typically required. Knowledge of basic computer software (word, excel and outlook). Basic qualifications Basic math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, fractions, and percentages to the 4th decimal point. Experience performing manufacturing or product inspections using blueprints and specifications. Experience performing measurements with Precision measurement tools, such as micrometers and calipers. The ability to utilize computer systems including input of data and retrieval of information for inspections and configuration purposes. The ability to review documents and to identify and resolve any errors or missing information. Ability to use operating software including SAP. 3+ years in an Aerospace or similar inspection role. #J-18808-Ljbffr
