Our THUNDER BAY BRANCH has an exciting opportunity for a 310T TRUCK AND COACH MECHANIC. This role is eligible for a $5000 sign on bonus for qualified journeyman mechanics.What You Will DoThe ideal candidate will be a Journeyman Truck & Coach Mechanic that will primarily perform mechanical repairs and maintenance on trailers and some minor truck work. You will work with your team members to deliver a high-quality customer experience that exceeds customer expectations through the following tasks:Remove and replace brakes, brake drums, hubs, seals, and bearingsTroubleshoot and repair electrical systems, lighting systems, and associated partsRepair or replace chassis components including springs, spring hangers, equalizers, axles, subframes and their associated parts, air bags and air system componentsRepair or replace bumpers, bumper braces, mud flap brackets, dolly legs and dolly leg assembliesRepair or replace decking, rub rails, doors and door trim, and perform minor repairs to roofs, panels, nose panels, lower and upper rails, and associated partsRepair and replace hydraulic pumps, safety valves and any other necessary mechanical componentsPerform incidental welding operations on steel and/or aluminum trailersDiagnose defects in light/heavy duty trucks and perform required mechanical servicesPerform repairs & preventative maintenance services on heavy/medium trucks and trailersEnsure documentation is complete and accurateOther duties as assignedWhat We RequireThe ideal candidate is a journeyman 310T truck and coach mechanic.
