Unleashing Your PotentialCompetitive Compensation, Health Benefits, & a generous flexible medical / Health spending accountRRSP matching programTuition reimbursementDiscount program that covers almost everything under the sun - Restaurants, gyms, shopping etc.Primary ResponsibilitiesLeads by example and fosters an environment of mutual respect and team work among Team MembersUnderstands and fulfills the duties of a leader of the following programs within the production area: Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP’s), All food safety programs, All health & safety programs, All FGF policies, programs or proceduresLeads, coaches, mentors and trains Sanitation Team MembersCoordinates all sanitation activities to accomplish sanitation practices according to Sanitation Standard Operating Procedures (SSOP’s)Maintains daily, weekly, and monthly sanitation recordsLeads sanitation personnel onsite and ensuring daily requirements/procedures are carried outConducts SWAP test as necessaryPerforms all job responsibilities under the strictest guidelines of the BRC food safety standardsEnsures all chemicals used in the cleaning process are mixed with a proper solution according to the suppliers’ specificationsEnsures Health & Safety and Food Safety principles are followed and adhered toConduct pre-shift huddles and provides feedback for Team Members and/or team performance to the Site Sanitation LeaderCollects regular water samples, check PH levels and maintain accurate recordsManages team workload distribution and structure to ensure consistent good performanceCoordinates with maintenance personnel and other sanitation crew the dismantling of production line and equipment in preparation for cleaningMaintains sanitation chemical inventoryPerforms other duties as assigned by Site Sanitation LeaderSupports and prioritizes corrective actions that are raised by the JHSC following their monthly auditsTrains new TM’s through low, medium and high-risk categoryVerifies the tasks of sanitation technician and office cleanerRequired ExperienceMinimum 1-2 years of experience working in a sanitation environment (food/bakery experience is desirable)Proven leadership experiencePrevious experience in a sanitation environment using chemicals approved for CFIA is an assetAccuracy and attention to detail and the ability to detect the presence of a sanitation issueAbility to work independently with minimal supervisionGood communication skillsScissor Lift license is an assetFamiliar with internal and external inspectionsPhysically capable of performing the demands of the roleAbility to move from one task to another with minimal distractionFlexible to work morning, evening, night shifts, weekends and holidaysWhat is the recipe for a great career at FGF?
