Project Manager (File Based, MAM & Playout Systems) To coordinate and assist with the installation of Broadcast Media Solutions internationally in a professional and timely fashion. Driving the Project team to deliver the system to an agreed specification through the project lifecycle. Responsibilities Lead the planning and implementation of project Facilitate the definition of project scope, goals and deliverables Define project tasks and resource requirements Develop full scale project plans Assemble and coordinate project staff Manage project budget Manage project resource allocation Plan and schedule project timelines Track project deliverables using appropriate tools Provide direction and support to project team Quality assurance Constantly monitor and report on progress of the project to all stakeholders Present reports defining project progress, problems and solutions Implement and manage project changes and interventions to achieve project outputs Project evaluations and assessment of results Qualifications Education in Electronics/Electrical/Computers or related field Successful project implementation in a Broadcast software solution environment Working experience with broadcast automation and device control, Media management and desktop workflow Experience with Broadcast IT with network infrastructure Understanding in applications integration with business systems via the use of XML as the interchange format Knowledge of current digital video compression standards and file types Good written and verbal communications skills What we offer Employer funded benefits program Competitive total compensation package Work-life balance Employee Assistance plan Employee Discount Platform Career progression Casual work environment Social events and sports teams About Us Evertz Microsystems (TSX:ET) is a leading global manufacturer of broadcast equipment and solutions that deliver content to television sets, on-demand services, WebTV, IPTV, and mobile devices (like phones and tablets).
