Isidore Landscapes Inc., an established landscaping company, located at 21200 River Road, Richmond, BC V6V 1M3, has been designing, installing, and maintaining landscapes in the Lower Mainland since 1994. Over the years, we have built strong working relationships with construction companies, home builders, and landscape architects. Position Details Number of positions: 1 Job Type: Full time, permanent position Hours: 30-40 hours per week Compensation: $49 per hour Overtime: 1.5x after 8 hours per day/40 hours per week Benefits WCB Coverage 4% Vacation pay Extended health and dental benefits are offered after 90-day probation period Key duties Develop and oversee the planning, scheduling, and delivery of complete landscaping projects, ensuring work is completed on time and within budget. Review project designs, blueprints, and site conditions to determine appropriate construction methods, required materials, and project-specific budgets for landscaping works. Prepare project bids, negotiate contracts, and coordinate with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers. Supervise and direct site supervisors, foremen, and work crews engaged in hardscape and softscape construction. Manage procurement of construction equipment, tools, and landscape materials to maintain workflow efficiency. Monitor project budgets, schedules, and work progress, and prepare reports to management and clients, addressing any changes or challenges. Ensure compliance with occupational health and safety standards, building codes, environmental regulations, and company policies. Resolve technical or operational problems and provide guidance to foremen and field staff. Oversee quality assurance by inspecting completed work to ensure landscaping projects meet design specifications and client expectations. Requirements Education: Completion of university degree or college diploma in construction, or in related field Experience: Minimum of two years of related experience, including at least one year in a supervisory role within the field Language: Good verbal and written communication skills in English Core Capabilities Customer and quality focus Strong communications, organizational and time-management skills Excellent problem-solving abilities Responsibilities and dependability Ethics and Integrity Work Conditions Ability to make outdoors visits to sites in various conditions including heat, humidity, rain, dust, noise, and cold Flexible working hours as required by project demands Fast-paced team environment requiring collaboration and productivity Work Address: 21200 River Road, Richmond, BC V6V 1M3.
