Assists in management of portfolio of accounts, ensuring timely completion of annual credit reviews, monitoring of loan compliance and tracking industry and client-specific trends, all with a consistently high level of attention to detail. Build and nurture cross-functional relationships within the Bank to deepen product knowledge and identify opportunities for ancillary revenue generation. Demonstrates ability to effectively manage multiple transactions and priorities at any given time, proactively managing workflow and ensuring high-quality deliverables across all deal teams. Understand how the Bank’s risk appetite and risk culture should be considered in day-to-day activities and decisions. Actively pursues effective and efficient operations of his/her respective areas in accordance with Scotiabank’s Values, its Code of Conduct and the Global Sales Principles, while ensuring the adequacy, adherence to and effectiveness of day-to-day business controls to meet obligations with respect to operational, compliance, AML/ATF/sanctions and conduct risk.
